Monday Night Mission Ministry ~ Meal ~ Music ~ Message.
Church, God has planted the seed to start a ministry for those who cannot
worship during traditional times on Sunday mornings and/or those who may
feel they can not comfortably attend a church. A team of people from each
church in our Union Missional Network is being formed. If you feel led to be
part of this team to represent New Hope or just want to learn more, please
join us on Monday, May 13 @ 7 pm.

It’s Time For Pot Luck!  Operation Reach-Out is collecting USED pots, pans, dishes, glasses, flat ware, small appliances anything in your kitchen taking up space in your cabinets!     Operation Reach-Out assists families who are moving into a home for the first time or have been burned out with household items to help them get started!  Don’t purchase new items just share any items you no longer need.  Please place used items in the grocery basket in the Narthex.

HAPPY FEET Mission ~ This month we are
collecting SOCKS for our neighbors in need.
All sizes.  Please place in basket in Narthex.

Do you enjoy hanging out with middle and high students? Do you like to eat, have fun and study the Bible? You may be just the one God is calling to form a Youth Group at New Hope. Adults with a heart for youth are needed to lead a small group to include food, fun and Bible study. To discuss this ministry opportunity contact Pastor Johanna. If you are not called to this, PRAY for the right individuals to serve.

Would you like to learn CPR + First Aid for children and adults?  Or take a Concealed Carry Permit Class?  New Hope will offer space to host classes on each topic if there is enough interest.  SIGN UP sheets are in Narthex.

The greatest need at this time for those affected by Hurricane Florence is CLEANING KITS. Cleaning Kits should be assembled by local church- es according to the specific instruction lists (located in Narthex.)
If you would like to donate funds instead of compiling a Cleaning Kit donate $75 marked for Cleaning Kits.

UMCOR—United Methodist Committee On Relief - Your gifts ensure that our Western North Carolina Conference will be able to provide help and hope for those left homeless or otherwise affected by disaster for years to come. Please mark your donations for UMCOR and it will help our North Carolina Disaster Response Teams and ministries as “Disaster Response.”

All Christians are called to serve. Lay Servant training has been offered at New Hope in the past. But if you are interested in this training, please contact Pastor Johanna. Jesus’ church needs YOU!
